Ethan's 1st Birthday Bonanza!

I can't believe in 2.5 weeks my little peanut is gonna be a 1 year old!!! ::tears flowing::

Cause he is spoiled rotten, and his momma loves him to the moon and back we're throwing a HUGE birthday for him. I agree that I am going overboard, but your first born only turns one once right???

We're still looking for a few more items to put in the goody bags cause the bags we got we're HUGE. I just hate filling them with crap that will annoy parents.

All that's left now is the ballons, food, and cake!

Can't wait for the big day to get here and celebrate our little man! I'll make sure to post pics of the party after we recover :)

I'm about 3 weeks EARLY on these...for once in my life...but I wanted some done for his invites (that will be my next post).

Health Update

My Weightloss Wednesday has been put on hold for a while now cause my health seems to not be where it should be :( My Blood Pressure at my last doc visit was 150/90 which is WAY high for me, and with that I had gained 10-12lbs in less than two weeks and it was NOT from eating junk food.

I think with everything that has been going on with my wrist-they think it may be some nerve damage-that I am stressed beyond words and my body isn't taking all of it well.

I go back to the Doc on tuesday so I am hoping I will have better news then!

Wordless Wednesday

He has this lion that a friend gave me that he LOVES!! I think we have a future football player on our hands cause he constantly is tackling it :) Notice the zillion of toys behind him, not even close to what he actually has....yeah not spoiled one bit.....lol

Weightloss Wednesday

Will be postponed for the next few weeks :( I am swelling pretty bad and can't seem to get things under control so I need to figure out what's happening before I can keep going....BLAH!!!

Wordless Wednesday

He has now decided that he MUST get into everything and anything lol! He figured out how to unlock the dog cage a few weeks ago and thinks it is the funniest thing in the world to crawl into it. Yesterday he went one step further and closed the door while IN it. BOYS!!!

You've gotta be kidding me?!?!

So last Thursday I worked my 1st day shift in over a month. One of my residents is w/c bound and very hard to transfer. Mid-afternoon I was transferring her and she fell to the ground. The boss' son drove down to help me get her back up. Then I was transferring her again a few minutes later and she went dead weight on me and fell right onto my right wrist! I have HORRIBLE tendinitis and when she came down I heard large POP! I screamed and the son came in and got her while I ran into the bathroom and popped my wrist back in. I was scared to call my boss but after about 30 minutes of crying hysterically I called and she had someone come relieve me.

The next few days the pain went up and down. By Sunday I knew I had to get it looked at so I went to the ER. They did an X-ray and it turns out theres a crack in my wrist :( Also my tendinitis is apparently much worse than it was before and she could feel the lumps on my tendon by just gently pressing on them...YIKES! I have an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday so hopefully there will be good news there!

He's getting so big!!

My little man is 10 months old today!! I will do his monthly update tomorrow when I'm home but I just can't believe how fast the time is flying! In two months we will be celebrating his 1st birthday (and I will be bawling my eyes out cause my baby is no longer a baby), and I have so much to get prepared and decide upon. But that's for another post :)

As I am sitting here at work (yes, all by my lonesome on the 4th of July), DH sends me a text saying that Ethan said "Good night" more than once tonight! And yet the monkey still won't say momma....
